Applicant Requirements:
Applicants must meet all Washington state and local requirements, including:

Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
-
Valid Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate in School Psychology issued by the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)

Knowledge of federal and state special education laws, including IDEA and Section 504
-
Experience conducting evaluations and participating in IEP and eligibility meetings
-
Ability to pass background checks and meet district onboarding requirements
Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, behavioral, emotional, and social development

Interpret assessment data and collaborate with IEP teams to develop individualized education plans
-
Provide counseling and behavioral support services to students
-
Assist in crisis intervention, threat assessment, and mental health initiatives
-
Support implementation of school-wide intervention programs (e.g., PBIS, MTSS)
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success

Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure compliance with state and district standards
